Gluble
Stick to the Bubble
Gluble is a serverless, encrypted peer-to-peer messaging app that connects people in the same physical space using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct — no internet, no account, no trace.
Key Facts
- ▸ No servers. All communication happens directly between devices. There is no backend, no relay service, and no cloud storage.
- ▸ No accounts. No sign-up, no phone number, no email address. Identity is generated locally at first launch using a cryptographic keypair.
- ▸ No internet required. Android uses Google Nearby Connections (BLE + Wi-Fi Direct). iOS uses CoreBluetooth BLE. In both cases, no mobile data is consumed and no internet connection is needed.
- ▸ End-to-end encrypted. Private channels use AES-256-GCM (Argon2id key derivation). Direct messages use ECIES P-256 HKDF + AES-128-GCM on Android (Google Tink) or X25519 + AES-256-CTR + HMAC-SHA256 on iOS. Content never leaves the device in plaintext.
- ▸ Ed25519 cryptographic identity. Every user is identified by an Ed25519 public key generated and stored on-device. Every message is signed; identities can be verified by scanning a QR code.
- ▸ Works without internet. Gluble operates fully offline. Designed for events, festivals, and remote areas where connectivity is unavailable or undesirable.
- ▸ Open-source cryptography. Crypto primitives are provided by BouncyCastle (Android) and Apple CommonCrypto / curve25519-donna (iOS) — audited, widely deployed libraries.
- ▸ Available on iOS and Android. Built with Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform. Both platforms share the same P2P protocol; crypto is platform-optimized (Google Tink on Android, libsodium + CommonCrypto on iOS).

Short paragraph (under 60 words)
Gluble is a peer-to-peer messaging app for people in the same place. It uses Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct to connect nearby devices without any server or internet connection. Every identity is a local Ed25519 key. Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted. No sign-up, no account, no data collected.
Full description
Gluble is a P2P messaging app for the real world — music festivals, bars, concerts, conferences, or anywhere you want to communicate with the people around you without relying on the internet or any server. Gluble uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to discover and connect with nearby devices. No sign-up, no phone number, no account. When you open the app, your identity is generated locally using a cryptographic key that never leaves your device.
